My Health Record

As part of the Government’s initiative to provide comprehensive management of a patient’s health, My Health Record was developed to consolidate a person’s health records securely in one convenient location.

This means that important health information is available when and where it’s needed, including in an emergency. My Health Record uploads your personal health information each and every time you visit a medical professional, unless you have specified otherwise.

To help you understand what information may or may not be shared, a simplified overview of the most frequently asked questions has been provided below. This way you can make informed decisions about your medical records and whether My Health Record is the right choice for you.
